One high street fashion retailer decided to look in depth at how one of its pivotal teams could overcome geography, enhance team cohesion and capitalise on existing skills.
To help with this, the WLBC created a tailor-made day examining team dynamics, working and communication styles in detail. The team also learned new approaches to managing a fast-paced high volume workload, remaining physically and mentally resilient and understanding the impact they have on each other at work.
During the day, the team created detailed individual plans based on their personal strength and contributions – all of which were then collated into an overall team plan for improving team effectiveness. They also used the time to understand the differences and similarities within the team and how they could enhance these for future performance.
